Stir's debut

060606 was the date when Stir eventually made their first official performance after such a long wait. Wot a date to start with!!!

Stir was the hosting band for Turt06 coffeehouse and we were tasked to do some cool unplugs including some covers. Wow...Finally get to blog again after so long....Yeah, i have completed my exams...and i think i did pretty not bad for this sem....results will be out this coming 27th/28th May...cant wait till then...

Spending Holidays
Well, wot do u do when u have so much time? I din really have alot of time to spend for myself for the 1st 2 weeks of my holidays....have been rehearsing for GCTC grad worship set...and also for TURT primer class....Played alot of guitar more than i expected....
The other days i am preparing for my driving test on June 12th...pls pray hard for me k....

Kam Tam
I was tasked to cover this tough thai song that my band(override) once did last year...The greatness of p'Jan's(the other super zai guitarist playing with me) guitaring manifesting in this song. At 1st i had lotsa fear in this song...cos i simply din believe that i could do as well as p'jan did...and i sort of have a preconceived idea that the song was super duper tough...But thanks God lah, when I was called to do the song, he blessed me with the skills and music to able to cover the song...I am not saying that i caught 100% of the song, but at least 99% lah...hee...so proud of myself not becos i can do the song, but in trusting God....This song is not at all tough, or maybe i have improved compared to wot i was last year.

World Cup
Ohh man, i cant wait for June 9th to come....for the kick off of the world greatest event this summer...the world cup 06 in Germany....I do wish that England will win this time even though without Rooney....ohh come on, we still have Gerrard, Lampard, Joe cole, and many more world class players....we shld win the cup!!!
The best thing is....i subscribed SCV just for it...hee

STIR
STIR activities have been put on rest for TURT, so it's like a 1 mth plus break for me from STIRring...
BTW, after CG last nite, i was reminded once again that if our ministry is meant to be Christocentric, then how can we not pray as prayer is the sole communication element to commune with our band leader JC? And i seriously think that we shall play less and pray more...
It doesn't matter where we will end up in (whether becoming renowned musician band, or just another small amature band), but it's the journey itself that does matter....and the key factor of the journey, is whether He is with us...

Our EP will be out in July...so be patience ok...!!! hee
