X'mas wishes

It's time for my Xmas wishlist!!! Well, i have almost everything i wanted already: a university degree, a driving licence, a wonderful galfrend.....and more. I guess the only thing i can ask for for this xmas, is a break!!! I guess the long STIR season is finally getting its toll on me. Not only is it mentally, physically draining, it's also emotionally draining. Sometimes i really wonder y am i spending so much time on it. I am indeed feeling tired.

However, i am so far satisfied with STIR's performance. Actually, i feel that we can do much better with our band performance and wot really warms my heart,is that our songs were quite well received among pple we performed to. If only we are to launch an album, it would have being very very strategic for the band. However, seems like launching an album is almost impossible due to the contributing differences among the band.

This season really help me to see and know pple on a deeper level. Just recalled from my old pastor that indeed, in every place, every group or every organisation i served in, i bound to meet pple whom i will have character clashes with. Well well, i just hope that i can carry on to learn from God the lesson i had failed to learn in my previous church.

I am excited with the opportunities presented for me to start a new band. I have tok to my potential new boss (heehee) Jeff about our visions to collaborate in starting a new recording label. I guess i'll inject all my song writing brain juices into it and see how far we can go. Our strategy is unlike STIR's. I feel that instead of publisizing the band thru gigs and exposure, another alternative(which i personally feel that this is a wiser strategy) way is to start publisizing thru album launching. The new band i formed will only comprise of a group of song writers and music arrangers who will make music and compile them into an album. Once if the album is well received, the artist will then formed and a band of sessionists will then come in.

Anyway, i am very excited about this project and i will devote myself in it when STIR takes a break after the season!!

It has been freaking long since i last blogged!! Well, here i am back again...and i wonder how many pple will still remember to read this blog!!!

Final paper, final hassle!!!
Today is really a significant day...as it marks the day i took the last exam in my entire NUS life(i hope)!! The best thing was that i finally can remember the module name which i gave up remembering since i first bidded for it. It's molecular design of drug!!! CM3268....It was quite an easy paper....so i should be graduating soon!!! hee


Niu Tou Ma Mian - my new passion!!!
Ohh, i am starting a new chinese band named niu tou ma mian(Bull head and horse face), after the mythical hell guardians of the chinese folk tale....y the name? haha...it's a temporary name lah. It will be a two man band, mainly me and another guy....becos we are quite wierd, so we call ourselves that name lah. We aim to write chinese music and hope to hit the market with very western rock heavy arrangement. We also aim to be a bilingual band as it'll dictates our national identity....Singapore - a multi-lingual society. We really want to write something that contains the singapore flavor and hope that it can really sell lor. There's nothing Godly or ungodly about doing this, it's very much to fulfill our dreams. So guess i'll be compiling all my songs for this band lor...haha!!!
Btw, we are toking to a recording label to help us with the recording!!! hee. Keep a lookout on it.

I'll be away on sabathical(haha) for a few days...so dun bother to look for me....cos u wun get me anyway!!!
