True intimacy with God
Wowow!!! It's the new year 2007 liao...and 2006 has ended so fast with the blink of an eye. It's quite scary though to think of it that year goes on after year in such a quick succession.
Summing up 2006
I was sharing with my CG the last day of 2006 about what 2006 was like for me. I guess it was a year of achievements and realisation of dreams!!! Just feel very grateful that God choose to answer all huge majority of my prayers in a single year.
1) I have found the love of my life-my gf - who is such a wonderful girl!!! And our r/s is mentored by my own mentor Patrick and his wife Jac, whom i trust and will pour out wotever is in my heart to. I thank God for Pat who God has used time and again to not just point to me how to walk my faith, but by showing me with his very own living.
2) I became the 2nd kid of my generation i n my family to attain a bachelor degree from NUS. I would have made my dead mum very proud if She's still around. But somehow, i know that she knows!! hee
3) STIR's journey began with a very long n fruitful season. I not only realised my dream to play in a local band with the sound i like, also a band that write own song, have own personalities, but also a band of brothers whom everyone of them means alot to me. I really enjoy them and thank God for them.
4)I have gotten a car license. Something which i dream of as a kid. I like cars when i was young, so being able to be able to drive a car now means alot to me. But of cos, i paid alot of that piece of card!!
Setting 2007 up
With so much achievement made in 2006, i would not be very ambitious for 2007. I only wishes for one thing. My new year resolution for 2007 will be to pursue true intimacy with God. Something i would find it hard to attain in an hectic 2006 schedule. Since i am gog back to slack in NS, i can spend more time tuning myself towards God. This will be my main priority for this new year.
I do have some other things i wish to achieve in this nw year.
1) I'm excited to be joining force with Sindric and Jeff on pulling out a new recording label. Forming some sort of a new artist that will start their course by releasing album or single, to test the market. This strategy isn't new at all, alot of artists in Singapore start in the studio 1st, before gog live. So it will be an exciting journey
2) I wish to spend more time anchoring my Cellgroup which God has blessed me with. I beginning to love the brothers there in a deeper level and i think it' time i start giving after being low key for a year.
3) Of course, to get a job lor....hee
