The Boy in me!!!

Finally got a chance to step into Toy R us after i departed from my childhood years ago. Was hunting with the bangsters for little Ryan's 1st bday gift.

Wowowow, toys nowadays are fabulous man....they are like the "dreams come true" toys for all of us bangsters!!! We saw this remote controlled hovercraft that can be used for road and water terrain...Wowowow...dream come true man!!! How many of us actually dreamt of having something like this back in our childhood.

The old toys which dominated the toy world back in our times were back liao!!! We saw the resurrection of Transformers, GI Joe, Starwar..etc etc!!! And i saw this huge optimus prime on sales!!! Wow!!! If i am 20 years younger, maybe i will get it for sure!!! hee....

Nowadays kids really good life lah...So many hi-tech toys for them...Maybe it's to make-up for the lesser time spent with the parents.

Ryan's hot rods
The bangs took a challenge with some of the sisters in FR. We must prove to them that we, *Insensitive, cold-blooded, brainless, hot-headed guys* can come out with interesting and thotful gift too. It really crack our brain also and we nearly gave up....but thank God that, He created us with a little brain....haha!!! So we went around looking for suitable toys for a 1 year old...

We intended a tricycle initially, but found out that it may be too big for little Ryan...So we settled for a Fire-engine four wheeled toy that Ryan can sit on and roll around with....But before we exited Toy R us, Manson spotted something interesting....It's a motored Tricycle, small enuf to fit little ryan...and all he has to do is to press a button and it will travel at 2.5Km/hr...cool!! The coolest part is....it works on a rechargable battery!!! Wow man!!! We cant wait to show Ryan his new toy man!!!

Also, i got a toy for myself too....it's not really a toy lah...it's more of an extendable hand, that i can use to reach things that are placed too far away when i am in bed...haha....Lazy bum, i am!!!

Ryan's Bday
Alot of pple came down to Mayer road on sunday for little Ryan's bday. He wore a rainbow coloured shirt which Eeleen commented that it's so metrosexual. haha!!!

We had very nice nasi lemak buffet with excellent chicken wings and drumlets!!! Cool man!!!

The best part came when me and manson have Ryan mounted on the hot rods which both of us assembled. He mounted it and rode it with our helps to the living room and the pple were wow-ing at him....Haha!!1 He loves it leh....Not only Ryan, the other kids love it too and everyone were actually fighting to sit on it. haha!!

Fulltime ministry and me
Pat warned me in our last mentoring session about me always setting stds for myself in everyting. Well, i always set a std that i have to be, before i proceed to do something. For example, i set an ideal std of what fulltime minister must be and i have to become like one, before i join fulltime... So i was praying to God just now and He put in my heart that, fulltime isn't the end of growth, in fact, it's a beginning of a new flourish of growth that we can experience. So wot if i am a Canon-reverend material before i join fulltime, who can guarentee that i will definately make it thru? How many spiritual leaders who we tot have made it, but at the end of day, commited adultery and then fell...?

I realised that Fulltime or not, i have to perserve and walk the path that God has planned for me. Fulltime or not, is just a path, not the end goal.

I think each time when i look back on how God has led me so far...All the checkpoints that He has led me thru, are pointing me towards fulltime. And i am feeling His calling strongly. Just as i was writing this blog, i was sharing with a sister on MSN how money is a struggle to me. I really hope that God can help me grow over it. Do keep me in ur prayers my frends!!!
